Fuego BoxHot Sauce of the Month Club

A monthly hot sauce subscription that sends you craft and small batch hot sauces.
I absolutely had to include Mr. I’m Not a Tree who for the VERY FIRST time was excited to open a subscription box up.

Check out our unboxy box video

Here’s the Box Breakdown
The Fuego Box packaging is awesome.
I saw the box which was relatively small and at first thought for sure because of it’s size there would only be one hot sauce bottle in it. If you look at this picture though, you will see there is cardboard separation so the bottles won’t break!
Here’s Everything we Received in our Fuego Box

So what is all this stuff?

Super cool packaging with a nice wax seal. If you watched our unboxing you know this has an initial heat. A good adjective is “biting” There’s also a tanginess that comes from a mixture of vinegars. There is also ginger in there. This was Mr. I’m Not a Tree’s favorite. A very unique hot sauce.

Born to Hula Ghost of Ancho Hot Sauce

This sauce was much more my speed. The first was a little too hot for my tastes. This one is a good smoky flavor and was a nice addition to our “Taco Monday” last night. (I’ll explain that in a sec)
After looking at their site I felt like a boss. They described this as really hot and to use in “moderation” GO ME!
Free Month of Flavor Fix
So we got a little sample of some Srirachi Salt and a free month of another subscription called the “Flavor Fix” I know some people are on the fence about the inclusion of other subscriptions in a box they receive. I myself LOVE it. Love variety and you can absolutely look forward to a review on that!
This notebook is your go to for your hot sauce tasting journeys. Included in the ink is real hot sauce!
As you can see you can fill out all the information about the hot sauces that you try!
We haven’t tried this yet
We received three packets. We did try one in the unboxing. It was flavorful but not overly hot. And addition to tacos is ideal.

In Summary

We look for three things in a subscription box, quality, curation, and presentation. The Fuego Box did phenomenally in all three. The Curation aspect was exemplary as we had never heard of ANY of these brands and felt like as far as brand awareness Fuego Box was really bringing something to the table. A great box all around, we were really impressed.
If you read the blog regularly you know that we have “Taco Tuesdays” over here at my house. Mr. I’m Not a Tree was so excited about trying these out we had a Taco Monday instead!
The Fuego Box is $27.95 – $29.95 monthly or you can opt for a shipment quarterly for $29.95
Each shipment (save your first) includes three bottles of hot sauce, your first includes two bottles and your tasting journal and samples.
