In case you’ve forgotten I was pretty impressed with them last month!

Check out my unboxy box video!

Here’s the Box Breakdown
Here is the huge assortment that I received from Send me Gluten Free for August!
I seriously can’t believe all the stuff that they manage to fit in the box. Last month’s box was also filled to the gills with Gluten Free goodness.

So, what is all this stuff?

First is the Envelope
Each month Send Me Gluten Free sends an envelope with coupons good for items that you receive in the box.
This month we also received coupons to get free items, some that weren’t even IN the box!
How cool is that!?
Yummy Snack Peppermint Bar
$2
This was good. Obviously you have to like mint. It tasted a lot like a Peppermint Patty.
The weirdest part is that you would imagine the inside being white, it was not!
(Sorry about this picture quality I was watching Pretty Little Liars and pigging out all at the same time)
I did like this. I thought it was not too minty and a very good alternative.
 ZOUQ Jubilee Trail Mix

$1.49 x 3
I received three of these. The flavor was good, it was kind of a sweet with a spicy which was nice in a trail mix to see a little bit of variation. What I found most interesting is the texture. Rather than chips  or pieces this had more like little strands of chip throughout. Made for a very interesting snacking experience!
Aubrey Organics Chia Salt Spray
$1.75
I haven’t had an opportunity to use this yet but it’s non GMO – not tested on animals – gluten free. Needless to say I am really interested in seeing how it works!
smooze fruit ice
$1
This looks like it will be really good! I love coconut and I love mango! What I most like about this is that it’s dairy free as well as gluten free. My daughter and I have milk sensitivities so an ice cream alternative is always welcome!
Beanfields Nacho Bean & Rice Chips
$1.25
These are good. I’ve tried these before and was impressed the first time that I tried them. They are definitely different than a normal nacho chip but not in a bad way! The texture is a little drier and the flavor is a little richer. I like them!
ekSel Toast Bag
$3
These bags are a great idea for someone who is traveling. Not just for toast either – you can put a wide variety of foods in these bags that prevent gluten cross contamination.
I’m actually having people in from out of town for the wedding and one of them is wholly gluten intolerant so I am planning on passing this along to her.
Go Raw Sunflower Seeds
$1
I love sunflower seeds so these were really good. They were salted and yummy! They didn’t taste any different from any other shelled sunflower seed that I have ever tried
Justin’s Maple Almond Butter
$1.19
Oh man, this was by far my favorite thing in this box! I love nut butters… and this was no exception. The flavor sounds fun – maple almond butter… however, if it hadn’t been on the package I really wouldn’t have known. There is just a hint of sweetness added. Regardless, this was scrumptious!
Glutino Gluten Free Pretzel Twists
$1.50
These were good. They tasted almost exactly like a normal pretzel. The only notable difference was that they weren’t shiny…pretzels usually have a glossy outer layer that these didn’t have.
Kickers Powdered Fruit Blends
$1
This was so good! We added this to oatmeal this morning and it was a hit. It’s maple banana flavored and the kids absolutely loved it! This packet says there are two servings in there but we still have some to spare and I used it on all three of the kids breakfasts!
i heart keenwah
Aged Cheddar Quinoa Puffs
$3.49
These weren’t really my style. I have tried something else by them … I believe it was their clusters and I really liked those. These weren’t awful just not really something that I would purchase. My kids liked them as they are a lot like cheese puffs! They do have a sea salt and truffle flavor which sounds awesome and I would totally love to try that!
Home Free Mini Vanilla Cookies
$1.25
These were really good! You can buy these by the box and also in snack sizes for lunches which I think is a great idea. I shared these with Oliver and he really enjoyed them as well so I think it’s safe to say that these are a win!

So, in summary….

We look for three things in subscription box; quality, curation, and presentation. I am continuously  impressed with the overall good attributes of this box. It’s packed with stuff and arrives nicely so presentation is a hit. Everything is good, certified quality gluten free, so there’s quality. And to find all these brands and to give coupons towards purchases – enhancing brand awareness and promoting healthy choices makes the curation of Send me Gluten Free phenomenal!
And as far as price, economically this is such a money saver! Allowing you to try so many different products before buying the full size for just $19.85 monthly when you receive about $23 in products (not including the coupons) is a pretty good deal if you ask me!
