This mug and the entire line claim to be spill proof.
If you remember recently I lost a 4 month old computer (RIP) to a 2 year old toddler and a large tumbler with coffee, I decided I was going to test this out and tell you guys my thoughts.

First, check out the unboxing for my first impressions

So, really?

So, this thing is apprently designed by designers and engineers
I honestly can’t tell you how it works because it’s almost as if it determines the pressure applied and says, “Okay, she’s just picking me up we’re okay with that” And other times, “felt more like an elbow, staying put.”
I will say, I’ve traded my old trusty, dusty blue tumbler in — entirely.
Just for size reference. It’s tall and holds 16 oz. So this is a long car ride mug for sure! This particular cup is $19.99
And if you look around The Mighty Mug site you will see they have quite a number of options and they’re even launching a cool new campaign on Kickstarter.

You don’t believe me though

Well watch it in action!
Not my best work… but an introductory idea of The Mighty Mug and how it works.
Alright, so here’s how it works ( I think) (I kind of like the magic and mystery aspect)
You have the bottom that is cordoned off from the rest of the mug yet still able to hold liquid.
So as you can see here there is a thin rubber layer at the bottom that sort of acts as suction.
And here is the bottom. I am not exactly sure how it all works.
But it works!
I really cannot express how great I think The Mighty Mug is.
I review a lot of things and most of them are nice. But once in a while you find something that is perfect for you. This is one of those products.
