I typically don’t use toners because they tend to dry my skin out. Since this one doesn’t contain alcohol I figured I would give it a shot and see if I got the results I wanted. There is a huge list of unique plant names listed in the Amara Organics Balancing Toner’s ingredients list. The one that I was most excited about trying was the Neroli. Neroli is like a little miracle product. It increases cell regeneration and skin elasticity so I was pumped to try this out.
Application is super simple since this is a spray bottle. You just shake it up and spray it on. You are encouraged to wear sunblock because this contains glycolic acid and that can increase sun sensitivity.
There are a couple points to note about this product. The inclusion of organic products has left this toner with an organic smell. So if having a perfumed or unfragranced product is a dealbreaker for you then this isn’t something you should purchase. It also contrary to almost any toner I’ve ever seen has a brown color. I’m not sure exactly what plant that comes from but it’s brown which was kind of surprising to me.
Those things don’t happen to bother me though, as I thought this product was fabulous. It left my skin feeling tighter and smoother and I’m really glad that I know about it now!
