Our first glimpse inside this month’s Gentleman’s Box
“Honoring our Favorite Suit & Tie”
For some reason the men’s subscription boxes really work for me!
I get excited when I get a new one to open up. It’s a process!

Everything that I received in the “Suit & Tie” themed September Gentleman’s Box

So what is all this stuff?

This scent is so crazy! Detroit is the name of the scent but the notes are Tobacco, Musk, and Motor Oil. It smells like warmth? And one of my uncles? I can’t put a finger on it but my life is a little bit better knowing this exists. This is definitely masculine. Truly an interesting experience.
This is a butterfly bowtie and has that really elegant satin sheen to it! Perfect for your next formal event.
There is an area on the inside where you can adjust to your neck width, which is quite a nice feature.
Okay, so admittedly I’m not the best but I’m not the worst bow tie, tyer either!
Here’s a video I made a while ago on how to tie a bowtie
(It isn’t that hard)
I am in love with this print, the more I see the more I just faaaalll … ahh! The Brothers at Otaa is an Australian Men’s Company I had never heard of before. So I definitely gained a little brand awareness with this box.
An up close of the beautiful pattern. I love the “movement” of it. It’s very refined!
The sheen of this pocket square is the same as the bowtie so these two will pair perfectly together for a polished evening look.
If you watched the unboxing you know I was unsure of the reason behind a waxed lace. This is something a woman doesn’t need to know about because waxed laces are for dress shoes and wingtips. Go figure! You can get them in TONS of variations. I tried them on my sneakers anyway just for fun.
Yes, I totally did a gap lace. These are a little too thin for regular sneakers but still very dapper!
These black polka dot no shows are THE BEST I OWN!
I am so serious. I usually buy these at typical mass retailers for inside my moccasins. Ttrying a higher end brand has been a game changer!
Mine always fall off but these fit perfectly. They are also made of a thicker more absorbent material. If you look though, these are totally breathable! Love the polka dots!
Ouuuie! The Tie Bar – I just hear that and I think of fine handsome men!
I will be honest and say that I had never heard of a lapel flower before. But it makes absolute sense to me now.
You just button this into your lapel and you have a very quick way to sophisticate your outfit. I am thinking I will put this into a pocket button hole? It would look really beautiful with a bright, bold, color!
Never fear if you fall just a little short and aren’t a “perfect” gentlemen. This box comes with a “how to” for all the included items.

And yet another page that tells you about Otaa and Taft

So, in summary

We look for three things in a subscription box; quality, curation, and presentation. Everything about the Gentleman’s Box says classy and refined. However it’s also accessible, easy, and a simple way to put together one polished and fabulous look. Everything is outstandingly varied and they aren’t the same things we’ve seen in every other men’s box out there. We also get a good deal of vendors to enhance the whole “brand awareness” that makes subbox’s so much fun! For that The Gentleman’s Box has excellent curation. Quality is a hit right out of the park – everything is top notch and beautiful. The presentation of The Gentleman’s Box is not only striking but elegant. There’s a how to for goodness sakes! Of course we love it!
As far as box economy The Gentleman’s Box costs $25 monthly and we received $66 in products! Wow, I was kind of already in love with this box but now I’m head over heels! I think you will be too!
