One of my personal favorites in beauty subscription boxes is Beauty DNA.
For $25 a month Beauty DNA sends you a box with one full sized product expertly chosen for you.
Upon your subscribing Beauty DNA asks you to take and in depth survey about not only you, your skin, hair, and body. It also asks you about scents that you like and products you may be averted to. If you have sensitivities and allergies and still want to find out about beauty products, this right here just might be your holy grail.

Here’s the Box Breakdown
Our first glimpses inside the Beauty DNA Box.
As always we love the striking pink packaging.
It’s a very girly unboxing this type of subscription and I always get anxious (in a good way) wondering what I’m about to open.

So what’d you get?

I will be honest. Getting Anti-Wrinkle Creams is not exactly glamorous or exciting. However, it’s necessary. I was totally unaware (as with each month of Beauty DNA) of this brand. The deep hydrating cream also boasts an SPF 15.

It’s a super pretty jar and I have one already that looks similar to this. I do like little tubs of product as opposed to tubes

The cream has a thick, rich consistency and no real noticeable fragrance. A little bit goes a long way with this hydrating complex.

This is a heavier cream and while it says AM and PM if you don’t have dry skin I can’t imagine you’d want to go big on this in the morning. I can get away with it, because my skin literally seeks out water and hydration. But if you are normal skin I’d start out lighter in the AM, just to be safe.

If you watched the unboxing you know that I put it on my hand and the effects instantly were very nice. It had a nice barrier sort of protection and added a bit of radiance. Still today though there are more noticeable benefits. The skin is visibly tauter and smoother. The Hydroxatone site says that the ingredients are as follows; Matrixyl3000, Hyaluronic Acid, Argirilene, and SPF 15.
I think the tautness is directly related to the Argirilene because this particular peptide offers quick and visible anti aging results.

Despite my ridiculous expression you can see that my left side of my face seems more radiant. That’s because I applied the Hydroxatone to only that side to see the difference in the effects.
I think it’s pretty obvious. I am curious how well it works in the long term? If there are even more benefits from using it! I will report back and be sure to let you guys know!

So in summary

Beauty DNA is such a unique subscription, sometimes we feel silly comparing it to other boxes because of its distinct differences from other beauty boxes. It is exactly what it says it is. One product that will be perfect for you. It costs $25 and this month the item I received retails at $69.95.
I feel like Beauty DNA offers something that other companies can’t and that my lovely readers is personalized beauty. The little card that comes along with it is also so helpful. I would never have really understood what this product was or how to use it without it. I think sometimes with higher end products we can feel intimidated but services like Beauty DNA allow us to dabble and become more comfortable in trying different products. So as far as curation, presentation, and quality I am elated with all! I am super pleased with my box this month!
