Here’s the Box Breakdown
Our first glimpse inside the Joyful Jordan Subscription Box
Everything that we received in the Joyful Jordan “Joy” Themed Launch Box.
It is very pretty and welcoming. The box was wide and flat so it was different than the way most boxes are packed and definitely a unique and new take on the presentation.

So what is all this stuff?

Inspirational Card
How can you not love the positivity of this card? The pictures are so cute as well, I do totally want to put this on my mirror!

“Joy Begins Within Your Heart. It is to be guarded and tended to like a beautiful garden. Once in Full Bloom You Can Give It As You Would A Bouquet.”

Joyful Soap
$6
This pure glycerin soap was made exclusively for the Joyful Jordan Subscribers and is limited edition. The scent is citrus-y and uplifting, what more can we expect with a name like “Joyful”.I put this right into my downstairs powder room so anyone coming over can enjoy it!
This is a LARGE bar of soap! The formula for this is a little different than most other handmade soaps that I’ve tried. It’s stickier and I’m supposing that has to do with the glycerin.
Bookmark
This bookmark outlines ways to feel and experience joy. But the incentive is to get us reading which is a source of inspiration, imagination, and a little like a vacay!
Cranberry Lip Tube
$4
Let me start by saying how festive I think that this Cranberry Lip Tube is! Such a great way to identify the season without going the “pumpkin” route. Not that there’s anything wrong with pumpkin… it’s just nice to see that it’s lesser known counterpart is getting a little action!
You can’t immediately smell the cranberry. Once you put it on it’s very subtle and nice. As far as formula in my opinion I’ve found two different kinds of lip balm. The very easy to put on, little bit greasy kind. And the little bit harder to put on, drier kind. Both have their place, and for all intents and purposes this is the drier of the two.
Shorty Shea Oatmeal Milk & Honey
$7.50
This is a really thick shea cream. Definitely a good one for overnight use. The smell is a perfect scent for this time of year cozy, warm, and comforting! This “Shorty” Shea is perfect for on the go. Throw it in your purse and have it all the time with less hassle than lugging around that huge tube!
This is a really nourishing formula and it’s evident in the thickness of the shea butter. I like this a lot, it’s a truly high quality product.
Testers
The first sample we received was a little vat of the Oatmeal Milk & Honey Lotion Bar. I had never heard of a “lotion bar” before. This obviously wasn’t in bar form because of its sample size but a lotion bar is basically a bar of lotion and you just rub it on like you would soap. I LOVE this! This is easily my favorite item in the box. I have trouble using lotions fast enough, so this would not only encourage me to use it more often but it would also make it last longer because, as you may know lotion definitely has an expiration date!
The final item (and sample) was this little vat of Time Rewind Eye Gel. This is a Peptide Eye Serum. I haven’t had a chance to use this yet but am certain that I will as I love to test out products like this. Look for it in an empties video!

So in summary

We look for three things in a subscription box; quality, curation, and presentation. The Joyful Jordan subscription box sends us a themed box of very seasonal, non toxic, bath and body products monthly. We like that they keep the items relevant to the season and that the non toxic products are sort of their cornerstone. We thought there was a great variety and were super pleased with their launch box! It was presented beautifully and we like that the box was a little different than most others. Everything also arrived exactly as it should have, so presentation is a plus. As far as quality, we love the Shorty Shea. That is a really fine quality shea cream. We liked all the products and thought that they were all very nice.
As far as box economy the Joyful Jordan Subscription Box costs $15 a month; we received $17.50 in products which makes this a pretty fair deal if you ask me.
