Beauty DNA is a monthly subscription box that sends you a carefully selected full sized beauty item each month. What makes this subscription unique is the in depth quiz you take upon subscribing and the selection that you receive because of it. Typically the item is at least double the value of the box and always a high end as well. Subscriptions are $25 monthly.

Here’s the Box Breakdown

Our first glimpse inside our December Beauty DNA box and as always the Hot Pink and White are striking and beautiful
$52
Our match this month is Kora Organics Cream Cleanser. This was chosen because of my dry and sensitive skin which I indicated on my initial survey I filled out with Beauty DNA. It is also a good fit because of my fair complexion
This cleanser is a lightweight cream. Because I also indicated that I liked things like Chamomile, Lactic Acid and Vitamin E this product was chosen for me. This is a fragrance free, natural, organic, paraben-free, sulfate-free cleanser

The Moment of Truth

So I think this is definitely a little oily. And that’s perfect for someone like me, however I can’t say that I would recommend this for folks with Normal to Oily skin. This left my skin feeling really nourished and soft. I also really like the Kora Organics packaging as well. The really soft blue is light and pretty.

So in summary

We look for three things in a subscription box: quality, curation, and presentation. Beauty DNA manages to be a great mix of all three. The presentation is reliable and beautiful. Quality is amazing, all the products that I have received are high end or luxury. And the curation is some of the best that I’ve ever received in a subscription box. It’s an amazing subscription and I highly recommend it if you have allergies or sensitivities or if you just want to receive a really high quality beauty item each month.
As far as box economy for the $25 that Beauty DNA costs we received $52 in items and we think that is an amazing deal!
