Here’s the Box Breakdown
Our first glimpse inside the Boxwalla Box. I love the shoebox style of this box! The colors and design are clean and simple which I am really fond of.
Here is everything that we received in the debut Boxwalla Green Beauty Box
I’m loving this packaging and the biodegradable peanuts they used in lieu of the typical accordion shreddings.

So what is all this stuff?

Our box insert
Aura Candles
This scent “Muse” is a vanilla orchid, tobacco flower, and amber. It’s light and a musky – floral? It’s complex and different and just a beautiful wave of scent that kind of washes over you.
Made with soy wax and lead free wicks this is the travel sized 6 ounce candle and will burn for 35 hours. I love the tin this came in, it’s a dark metal which I’ve never seen before!

Aunt Nancy’s Handmade Soap
$3.25 (each)
There were two of these handmade soaps included in the Boxwalla debut.
There is an unscented Carrot and Goat Milk and a lovely seasonal Christmas Spice
It’s really important to note that Aunt Nancy’s Soap is made without Palm Oil. This is crucial because Palm Oil is often unsustainably obtained from deforested land that threatens the habitat and lives of orangutans. I didn’t open either yet because I have soaps opened in all corners of my home and I have a feeling I’m going to love these babies. This is a great nourishing soap for your body.
This is the Christmas Spice. A perfect blend of soothing, warm winter scents! Love the rich aroma of this bar
They use Clove, Fir Needle, and Cinnamon Essential Oils to make this amazing scent!
Aunt Nancy’s has a number of fun looking scented soaps as well that you should definitely check out
Lilikoi Living Bamboo Buff Face Wash
This is definitely the star of this box. It is AMAZING. The scent, the texture, the glow of your skin afterwards! This exfoliating facial wash contains ground bamboo, passionfruit and raspberry seed that exfoliate and help to draw out your skins natural glow
It has small bits that I’m sure are there for exfoliation and the scent is sort of herbally yet there’s something exotic about it. It’s very nice and light and leave my skin feeling clean and youthful
Soap and Paper Factory Shea Butter Hand Cream
You need to check Soap and Paper Factory out for yourself! We received the Winter Vanilla Hand Cream but they have a lot of different wonderfully fun sounding scents and even more amazing packaging… seriously though!?

Love the little metal tubes. Such a vintage touch.
I am going to preface this by saying Vanilla for me is okay. I’ll use it but I won’t go out of my way to procure it. Having said that, this scent is not just Vanilla at all – it’s an amazing mix of Sandalwood, Vanilla, and Bourbon and I kept smelling my hands after I used this and it lingered there for hours. This stuff is so fantastic – everyone needs to try this! Perfect for the cold winter weather!
I was familiar with and liked Hurraw! before I received this box. I hadn’t tried the Moon Balm though, and I am nothing less than impressed with it. This vegan lip balm is packed with raw ingredients
Argan Oil and Blue Chamomile make this nutrient rich and nourishing lip balm perfect for your before bed routine. Interesting color and you can smell the oil in it!

So in summary

We look for three things in a subscription box; quality, curation, and presentation. Boxwalla is new but they’ve got it together, this is an excellent debut box! Presentation is exceptional, they’ve put together some of the most unique packaging we’ve had the pleasure of receiving and everything came exactly as it should have! Quality is excellent. Every company and every product is thoughtfully sourced for its lack of toxic and questionable ingredients. Every product is high end and very luxurious. As far as curation this is an excellent example of great green beauty curation. We love the brands that were included and think we found a couple new companies we love!
All in all – we think this box is awesome and if you sign up for Boxwalla we’d love to see what you get – particularly in the Film, Food, or Book box! We’re super curious!
As far as box economy Boxwalla is $49.95 and we received $67.09 in products which is great!
