Here’s the Box Breakdown
Our first glimpse inside the January Peaches and Petals Subscription Box
Love the tissue!
Everything that we received in the January Peaches and Petals Box!
The theme this month is “No Time Like the Present” and we think it fits perfectly into the whole new year, new me attitude that so many of us adopt!

So what is all this stuff?

The January Box Insert
To Live… Decal
We love this awesome sticker with one of the best Peter Pan quotes there is! Super cute, not quite sure where this is going to live yet but will definitely get used!
Adventure Jewelry
This little armband hid from us until I was taking my photos for this review! We didn’t see it during the unboxing or anything. This is definitely a cute accent for this box. If your goal this year is traveling, or even trying new things we think this is probably your spirit bracelet
I believe this is meant to be worn higher up on the arm but I just wanted you guys to be able to see both sides clearly and the way it lays. It’s a very cute piece
Hamilton Beach Fruit Infuser Bottle
Finally we get to try one of these out! These seem to be everywhere right now but we hadn’t had a chance to try one yet. I love water with lemon so this will be my go to water with lemon decanter!
This is a really nice quality water bottle. It’s glass and where it’s plastic it’s heavy, sturdy plastic. The rubber grips on the outside are nice as well! And it has a cool little handle so you can attach it to your bike or bag.
Selfie Stick
Oh lawd the day has come… I knew one day it would happen. I would innocently open a box and find Da DUH! A SELFIE STICK.
That day has come.
My initial thoughts are that it’s really long and pretty much exactly what I expected. My kids think it is awesome because they can hit each other with it from FAR AWAY (yes in real life they do these things)! When they acutally let me use it expect tons of Instagram selfies from me!
My first selfie stick selfie. I’m looking RAWKIN’ HAWT
Healthy Cooking Cookbook from Family Circle
This is a really nice cookbook, I find that cookbooks are really great for inspiration. Sometimes you see something that you make regularly with just a slightly different spin and it changes your whole perspective on a meal, so we liked receiving one in this box. This particular cookbook has great photos and the recipes seems relatively simple
Here’s a few of the pages from inside the book. Mr. I’m Not a Tree is our unofficial house chef so hopefully he grabs a couple of these recipes to try in 2016

So in summary

We look for three things in a subscription box; quality, curation, and presentation. Peaches and Petals is consistently fun and a little unpredictable which we’ve got to admit – we’re huge fans of. We know there are tons of people that don’t go for that though, so obviously I wouldn’t suggest this box for them. We however always have a hoot with the items we receive. Presentation is great, the box is now larger and kind of like a trunk it’s so big. Makes the unboxing feel more epic. The quality is good, I feel as though the quality is being raised a bit each month which is nice. Curation is super cute. The No Time Like the Present Box is a fun mix of motivation, inspirational, and recreational tools that we think are awesome.
As far as box economy we really tried to find a lot of these exact items and couldn’t. Having said that we feel that the Peaches and Petals $19.99 price tag is super fair and a pretty darn good deal!
