Here’s the Box Breakdown
Our first glimpse inside the prtn box. Green for healthy!
Everything that we received in this month’s prtn box.
This looks like a yummy selection of snacks… we couldn’t wait to try them all out!

So what is all this stuff?

Peanut Butter Delight Ultra Shake
This is the only item in the box that we haven’t had a chance to try yet. Planning on having it for breakfast. We have been told by a couple of our smoothie loving friends that peanut butter is a great smoothie additive because it masks a lot of the more harsh flavors in some smoothies!
Caveman Cookies
There were two of these cookies included in this box. Each cookie is all natural, grain free and paleo.
The cookie itself is a bit flat but looks almost buttery
This is the New World flavor that not only has maple syrup, organic honey and almond meal but also dried cranberries and pumpkin seeds. The texture is interesting and a bit course. However, the flavor was sweet and warm.
The original flavor was also quite good.
This one almost seemed a little more dense but just as yummy. It contained walnuts, raisins, ginger, cinnamon and nutmeg.
The Complete Cookie
We received the chocolate chip version of this wholesome cookie alternative but there are a number of flavors to try!
On top of this being high in protein this cookie also is Non-GMO, no eggs, dairy. Is all natural and vegan and has a  bevy of other great things to note!
This tasted just as good as most other chocolate chip cookies. The only difference was the slightly drier consistency. The kids all tried it and gave it a big thumbs up!
Clif Builders Protein Bar
This bar is huge! We can’t imagine being able to eat this at once… probably over the course of a day or two. We received the Chocolate Peanut Butter variety and think it’s quite yummy!
On top of it being really tasty it also boasts 20 grams of protein which is a whole heck of a lot!
Jack Links Sweet & Hot Beef Jerky
Good old fashioned beef jerky and we love it! This package has 13 grams of protein and is 97% fat free.
We enjoyed the slightly sweet and mildly spicy flavor. The meat itself was quite good, it’s the kind of beef jerky you have to tear with your teeth which just happens to be our personal favorite!
Krave Basil Citrus Turkey Jerky
This isn’t the first time that we’ve tried Krave Jerky but it is the first time that we’ve tried the turkey jerky. And Basil Citrus sounded like a lot of fun to us!
It doesn’t look like your average jerky but it is quite delicious! It almost tastes like sausage, the citrus is more an aftertaste than anything else.
Quest Protein Chips
We had never heard of a protein chip before so this seemed like something interesting and new to try. These chips from Quest are also soy free, gluten free, and contain 21 grams of protein (this was a pretty large bag though)
Because these are baked they are a little bit more like a cracker than a chip but tasty nonetheless. These have the perfect amount of barbeque seasoning on them!

So in summary

We look for three things in a subscription box; quality, curation, and presentation. All of the items included in the prtn box are of a really nice quality. As far as presentation this box has a really professional appearance about it and everything comes exactly as it should. Curation is awesome! This is an awesome box if you are trying to up your protein intake and are looking for new ways to do it! All of the snacks in here tasted great as well so, it’s almost like they’ve taken a lot of the guesswork out of the trial and error that is finding “lifestyle” friendly snacks! We think this is a great way to gain brand awareness and would make an excellent reward system or incentive for working out!
