Here’s the Box Breakdown
Everything that we received in our February Birchbox. The box is gorgeous and while the items aren’t an entire miss, we think our other beauty boxes hit the mark for February.

So what is all this stuff?

Our inserts
Because these contain Argan Oil we are excited to give them a try. However, the foil packet is a bit of a let down.
Love the colors they used for this tester but the scent isn’t a winner for us. Bit too old ladyish for our tastes. We were almost swayed though, between the packaging and the pretty name!
We want to give this a fair shot so we haven’t made any assumptions based on the packaging. We received another product from derma e in another beauty box which makes us think they are on a marketing spree. We haven’t used this yet – so we can’t say whether we like it or not
Made from Moringa extract, sweet almond, and meteorite powder we are really excited to have received this cleanser. One of the items this month that made the box worthwhile.
This item makes the whole box cost effective in our opinion. We weren’t sure how much gravity to give the whole “color enhancing” claims but this really does seem to work through some kind of glossing magic!

So in summary

Our subscription was up after this box and we still haven’t renewed. We decided to try out a new box for a bit (which one you ask? you’ll just have to wait and see) But we still think Birchbox is a steal for it’s $10 cost. We do feel like Ipsy gives us at the same price a better all around experience and selection!
