Here’s the Box Breakdown
Our first glimpse inside the Aambie Baby Subscription Box.
It’s wrapped so carefully and prettily!
Everything that we received in the Aambie Baby 4 month box
There is lots of color and if there is one thing we know about eating well, it’s to eat many different colors!

So what is all this stuff?

Our box insert with detailed information about what we received. Also tips for feeding baby and other important information!
Gerber Organic Mixed Carrots
These carrots are Certified USDA Organic (which means they are non-GMO)
Free of added sweeteners, salt, added starch and artificial flavors. Carrots are a great source of Vitamin A. Because of their sweet flavor they make an awesome first food. In fact all four of our kids started with carrots!
Ella’s Kitchen Apples Apples Apples
These apples are organic and have no added salt or sugar. The apples also contain Iron which is essential for development. Apples are another great first and because of their sweet flavor children take to them rather quickly!
Plum Organics Prunes
These organic prunes contain Vitamin A and fiber. Vitamin A is key to good eye health and we must always remember at these young ages babies are still developing (including their vision).
If you can get your baby to eat these more power to you, our children weren’t too fond of prunes.
Happy Baby Green Beans
These green beans are organic and full of potassium and fiber! Our children loved green beans. If you are just starting out here’s a little pro tip: Always start with a vegetable. If you start with a fruit and they enjoy the sweet flavor it may be hard to get them interested in a vegetable afterwards.
Happy Baby Mangoes
Mangoes! The ultimate in yummy and nourishing foods.
You may feel the desire to give a little of this and a little of that but please do remember the 4 Day Rule. Feed baby one food at a time to start. Wait four days between introducing a new food. This way if there’s an allergy you will immediately know which food caused it! (This information was also included on our box insert)
Beech Nut Organic Sweet Potatoes
While these organic Sweet Potatoes are rich in Vitamin A we also know they are rich in flavor! Who can resist delicious and filling sweet potatoes! And a la the olden days Beech Nut still uses these cutie cute glass jars
Munchkin Spoon
This spoon is extra long to dip deep into the largest of baby food jars. It’s also pink for the girl box (which you specify upon subscribing)
Swaddle Designs Bib
This pretty muslin bib has the most delicate and sweet butterfly print!
This super soft fabric is gentle and won’t irritate babies skin but will also protect babies clothes from the “elements”
NurturMe Quinoa + Apple Organic Baby Cereal
The quinoa in this cereal is a complete source of protein and contains all nine essential amino acids. While it’s certified USDA Organic it’s also gluten, soy and dairy free and also contains organic iron.
We were most interested to hear about this cereal. We’ve never seen a baby cereal that contained quinoa and while we know it’s packed full of nutrition we’re quite curious about the taste!

So in summary

We look for three things in a subscription box; quality, curation, and presentation. Aambie Baby is a great subscription for first time Mom’s to get their “feet wet” so to speak with solid feeding. It’s a great way to receive a variety of flavors from a variety of different baby food manufacturers. And we personally love that they have a Registered Dietician on their side. Quality is awesome each item is organic! And we just adore the bib. Presentation is awesome, we love the cards with all of the information. This box is quite informative which is always helpful The curation is also fab! They’ve picked a varied selection of healthy baby foods to try and if you count using the four day rule it comes out to just about 28 days. So, we’ve received an entire months supply!
