Here’s the Box Breakdown
Our first glimpse inside the Stash Builder Box for June.
It’s important to mention that Stash Builder Box gives back by donating quilts to children in need which we love.
Everything that we received in our Stash Builder Box. We are impressed with the modern feeling… not something you’d typically think of with quilting!

So what is all this stuff?

Our box insert. We love the pretty cards!
And the back is even better! We are definitely going to be hanging this somewhere in our home
Stash Bag
All the items we received came in this pretty canvas bag stamped with the Stash Builder logo.
This super dainty pin is adorable and we have to say we love the the SBB sewing machine logo!
Aurifil Mako 200M 50WT in Canary
This pretty Canary colored thread is perfect for detailed machine embroidery, lace, quilting, and serging. It also looks beautiful alongside each of the fabrics that we received in our Stash Builder Box this month!
Cloud 9 Fabrics Glint Collection Floret Blue Fat Quarter
Cloud 9 Fabrics creates organic fabrics. This blue floral is fun and whimsical and almost seems to be moving!
We think this is a great pattern for summer and a great addition to any quilt!
Bobbin Buddies
This tool allows you to store your bobbin with it’s matching spool of thread! We had no idea what these were when we were unboxing this and now that we know we really think this is an ingenious idea!
Keep Calm Pencil
We love the sentiment behind this pencil – everything will be okay!
True Grips
These little rings go on the bottom of your ruling surface to minimize slipping and enhance safety
They’re also great for many different crafting activities!
Cloud 9 Glint Collection in Gem Gray Fat Quarter
This was our favorite fabric – mostly because we crush so hard on gray!
We also think this has a really beautiful minimal feeling that can modernize almost anything! Love it.
This is also from Cloud 9 fabrics and is made from 100% organic cotton.
Cloud 9 Fabrics Glint Collection in Lush Black Fat Quarter
We love that all of these fabrics are beautiful but they each individually have a bit of fun in them! We’ve found that particularly in this deep fabric with these small pops of pastel!
This fabric reminds us of those licorice candies …
Stash Block of the Month
We received this booklet that details how to create this very cool Indian Hatchet Block!
We love how simple the instructions are and how you are walked through each step very easily. Perfect for absolutely any skill level
Love this! Please check out What’s Up Wednesday for updates on our Indian Hatchet Block!
Stash Pick of the Month
We love this “Scrappy Littler Blox” by Lillyella Stitchery
This booklet also instructs us how to create this fun animal block!
Despite us being beginners at quilting we feel like we could actually pull this off! (Whether or not that is true remains to be seen)

So in summary

We look for three things in a subscription box; quality, curation, and presentation. Stash Builder Box is a great way to not only get new and fun quilting products but to also get inspired each month! The presentaion is excellent – we love all of the packaging materials and everything arrived exactly as it should have. Quality is awesome, we love that the Cloud 9 Fabrics are organic and the booklets are so well written and thought out. Curations is amazing! A perfect assortment for any skill set. This is a great way to stay on top of trends and keep your self motivated to keep creating. We also really love that the colors included come together! Finally, the “giving back” philosophy of the Stash Builder Subscription Box is great. We love supporting companies that are supporting the less fortunate.
As far as box economy we couldn’t really find most of the prices of the items included in the Stash Builder Subscription Box but we really feel that this is super reasonable and a great way to amp up your “stash”
