Sephora Play! is a monthly beauty box that is released from beauty giant Sephora. Meant to rival Ipsy and Birchbox this subscription box boasts a price tag of a mere $10

Here’s the Box Breakdown
Our first glimpse inside the Sephora Play! Beauty Box for July
“Effortless Summer” is this months theme
Everything that we received in our Play Box for July
The past couple months have been pretty, “meh” for us but this month they’ve redeemed themselves wholly in our eyes!
So what is all this stuff?
Our box insert that details each of the items that we received
An elegant blend of lotus, freesia, and citrus. We love Nest Fragrances and we really don’t mind the fact that Sephora includes a perfume sample in each box.
This is a really bright (and lasting) fragrance – love it!
$7.95
We had never tried this before but we LOVE the package! Is it just us or is Benefit Cosmetics a beauty box staple?
This is definitely a stay put formula and dries to matte which we love. Not certain about this color – to be honest though picking out bronzer shades is not a strong suit for us… we get overwhelmed immediately followed by confused
$10
We love texturizing sprays and while we have a few we use them up fast enough to be excited about receiving this one! We love the name of this company and definitely want to check out some of their other items. The fragrance of this is light and floral – a pleasant change of pace from most other coconut scented texturizing sprays
$5.99
A great inclusion for an “effortless summer” box is this alternative to blotting papers. A beauty blender sponge that can be washed and reused. It comes in the same cool material that the original beauty blender is made of
Soft and thin it also came with a foil sample of liquid blender cleaner
$5
We’ve never tried this before but are excited to give it a try because of it’s all natural, paraben, phthalate, alcohol, and fragrance free formula.
$8.50
This was the only item in the box that we weren’t excited about. We like primers but this formula just doesn’t do it for us. It has a really silky oily feel and we don’t like how other products lay on top of it. Feels like it’s all sliding off (this could all be in our head)
So in summary
This month was an excellent round up of items for Sephora Play! and we have to say we think the “Effortless Summer” curation was excellent – so hats off to them. This is definitely worth the money with a value of about $38! That’s almost quadruple the value guys and considering we love all the items we received we’ll definitely be keeping this one for at least another month. We were on the fence and almost cancelled and started subscribing to Boxycharm but held out just in case
So Glad We Did!
