So what did you get?

what's in the october holstee subscription box
Here’s everything that came in the October Holstee Subscription. The theme for this month is “Compassion” we particularly love this theme!
This art print illustrated by Vincent Lai represents how each act of compassion enables another branch of connectedness to extend. This print is really beautiful and represents something we love in our lives… growth!
There was also a note from Krisin Neff, Ph.D about self compassion and how important it is to give yourself the same chances you would to someone else.
Each month we receive a little pamphlet that includes tools to act on the month’s theme.
Inside this month our action list asks us to go over a self-compassion checklist from one of our all time favorite blogs Zen Habits
Then we are also asked to think about our imperfections, which make us feel inadequate? Write a letter to yourself from the perspective of a loving friend. Finally, feel the soothing compassion. Read the letter again later for the full effect!

So in summary

We can’t break this subscription down the way we usually do because we are aware of what we’re getting when we subscribe. We can say thought that the theme is fantastic and the toolkit really helps us to find the love in our hearts for ourselves, which can sometimes be so hard! We also love that they included something from Zen Habits! We really love that blog! This has definitely been our favorite Holstee yet! The art print was absolutely gorgeous!
