Here’s the Box Breakdown
Our first glimpse inside this month’s Play! Box
. Our theme is “Best in Glow”
Everything that we received in our November “Best in Glow” Play! Box
So what is all this stuff?
Each month the insert details each of the items that we received and has our card with 50 Sephora VIB points!
Each month in addition to our five items we also receive a perfume sample. This month it’s Maison Margiela’s Replica that has notes of Night Blush and Rice Powder. A light smell perfect for all day wear. Some people don’t like perfume samples… we have to respectfully disagree.
A cult classic. This ThirstyMud Hydrating Mask is a great addition. We still have one that we haven’t used but don’t mind receiving another!
This “Moisturizing Sorbet” doesn’t really have a smell and adds an almost serum like hydration. We’ll test this out for a few days and let you guys know our thoughts. We do love the packaging though!
This would be an okay addition except that… it’s bright bubble gum pink. The shade is actually called “Pin Up Pink” but really resembles something our daughter would wear.
Of course there’s a primer! In fact we are a bit surprised there wasn’t a highlighter in this box but eh.. can’t win them all right?
Laura Mercier Eye Pencil
This beautiful eyeshadow stick in the color Caviar is the perfect addition to a glowing box!
Not only is the color gorgeous and perfect for the holiday season – it’s also stay put!
So in summary
This month’s Sephora Play! Box
was by no means bad but it also wasn’t the best box that we’ve ever received from them. Among our box favorites was the Glam Glow, the perfume and the Laura Mercier Eye Pencil. Definitely worth the $10 price tag. This box is a great way to get your feet wet – if you are interested in subscription boxes but don’t necessarily want to break the bank!
