Here’s the Box Breakdown
Our first glimpse inside the YBOX. This box is so stinkin’ cute!
Everything that we received in our December YBOX. This is an awesome mix of snacks! Everything looks absolutely yummy!
So what is all this stuff?
Our box insert
The items in each of the three boxes are listed
These are described as rice crackers with just a light layer of sugar on them.
Survey says… delicious! These are salty and sweet and super crunchy. A great snack with coffee or tea! And hands down our box favorite!
This was probably the only thing in the whole box that we were already familiar with. A little bit like a moon pie this has a marshmallow center and soft cake outside dipped in chocolate!
This is our mystery gift (there’s one in each box). What a cool bottle opener and it comes with it’s own pouch!
The most popular snack in Korea… little cookie sticks dipped in chocolate. This is a lot like Pocky – if we did a blind taste test we’d never know the difference!
So basically what we’re saying is – it’s delicious!
These are nothing like pie. They’re more a cross between a cookie and a cracker.
They taste a bit like shortbread cookies but they have way more crunch. We thought these were really yummy!
We have had dried seaweed before but have never tried a seaweed roll! These are touted as having less of a fishy taste and more flavor
This is spicy! It was very good but the kids were not having any. It’s exactly like dried seaweed but in a roll.
This little apple gummy candy is a nice little addition to this box!
This has tons of bright apple flavor – delish!
These look exactly like giant chocolate cheerios! How cute! This is a big bag and we couldn’t wait to share these with the kids after dinner!
They look like cheerios but do not taste like cheerios. They are dry and kind of crumbly and taste a bit like a cookie. They were a huge hit!
So in summary
We look for three things in a subscription box; quality, curation, and presentation. The YBOX is a great way to get your snack attack on and find out about different Asian snacks you wouldn’t have known about otherwise. The presentation is awesome, everything is packaged so cute and arrives perfectly! The quality is great – everything is authentic and also cutely packaged. And curation is awesome. All the guesswork is taken out for us! Just a great box at a great price!
