Here’s the Box Breakdown
Our first glimpse inside the Dollar Tea Club Box
Everything that we received in the Dollar Tea Club Box. All of this for just $9.17!!
So what is all this stuff?
Our box inserts that explain the club and the teas that we received this month!
Each new subscription comes with a rubber and metal tea scoop. This is really nifty and we’ll definitely be using this!
You can never have too many tea infusers lying around. And while this one is simple in style it has netting that is very closely woven which makes it harder for tea to escape!
Some single use tea filters
The bags that come in the Dollar Tea Club each month are pretty generous at 1.76 ounces. This “What the Duck?!” variety is a blend of Rooibos, Melon Pieces, Rose Hip Seeds, Currants Sultana Raisins, Apple Pieces, Pomegranate Petals and Mallow Flowers
This tea is excellent. A great balance between the smooth flavor of the Rooibos and the fruity flavors of the other ingredients. We made this tea first!
The first sample that we received this month was this Campfire S’mores Tea. A black tea blend with a medium caffeine content – this makes a great afternoon pick me up!
A blend of Black and Oolong teas as well as White Tea and Mini Marshmallows, Cocoa Peel, Chocolate Drops, Hazelnut Brittle, Pomegranate Petals, and Marigold Flower Petals make this a very beautiful and aromatic tea.
Our second sample this month is a caffeine free Rooibos tea that blends the flavors of fresh blueberries, white apple pieces, natural coconut chips, mallow flowers, and pink rose flower petals.
As you can see – there are large blueberries as well as coconut chips visible in the tea! Scrumptious!
Our third and final sample is this Earl Gray Tea. The most commonly used tea that we received in this package we were excited because Earl Gray is one of our favorites!
This black tea has been infused with Bergamot to give it a smoother more floral-y flavor.
Here’s our cuppa’ – this was delicious!
So in summary
We look for three things in a subscription box; quality, curation, and presentation. The Dollar Tea Club is a great and inexpensive way to get your tea each month. The presentation is awesome. The package is simple and efficient and everything arrives exactly as it should. The quality is great – we are happy with each of these blends and all the wonderful ingredients! The curation is excellent – we love all the little extras that came in this box and for the price it simply can’t be beat!
