dollar tea club review
Dollar Tea Club is a monthly subscription that sends different tea blends right to your door each month. They have several different plans starting at just $1 (Canadian). The first plan is the “Explorer” and contains 3 (5 gram) sample blends and 5 tea bags. It brews about 8-12 cups and costs (including shipping) just $2.92 USD. The second is the “Sommelier” and contains 3 samples and 1 large 50 gram pouch along with reusable tea bags for $8.76 USD and finally there’s the “Sensei” which is a lot like the Sommelier save that you choose the tea each month cost is also $8.76

what's in the dollar tea club subscription
Everything that we received in our Dollar Tea Club Subscription for April. This is the “Explorer”plan.

So what is all this stuff?

Tea Bags
Our tea bags
Sample 1
We didn’t receive a card with our samples and couldn’t find anything on their website so we aren’t sure what each of these blends contain or their names if they have any.
It looks and tastes scrumptious though! Big pieces of banana and pineapple in a Rooibos herbal blend! Simply lovely!
Sample 2
Our second sample in our set of three
This looks like a Green Tea with big chunks of raisins and different seeds. We haven’t tried this one yet but so far we like the mix of both herbal and caffeinated teas
Sample 3
Our 3rd sample in the package
This one looked the most gorgeous – big rose petals and hibiscus make this floral and colorful and fragrant. It looks as though there may be some nuts in this one as well. This was a delicious mild tea – for sure our box favorite

So in summary

We can’t break Dollar Tea Club down the way we do other subscriptions because we know what we’re getting when we subscribe. We can say that the blends are amazing and that the price is incredible despite the fact that this ships from Canada! Definitely worth the money! A great way to experience new flavors and teas each month.
