This was our list of groceries for the week. We were excited because we had a lot of these items already. We’ve been wanting to get into meal planning for a while but weren’t sure how and we just love how easy this subscription has made it! We’ve tried different sites and everything was just cumbersome and required you to have your computer handy – being able to print these out is a lifesaver!
Chicken Satay Noodles
Our first recipe is Chicken Satay Noodles which is a simple mix of chicken, noodles, green beans, soy and peanut butter. As always check our Instagram to see our own creations. The prep for this is simple nothing crazy and this would definitely work for both lunch and dinner
Our second recipe is Pesto Pasta which is a simple mixture that is so quick and easy to make. Have this for lunch or dinner and know for sure you will enjoy. We make pesto pasta probably about once a week in our house and it’s a hit with both us and the kids!
Thai Red Meatball Curry
Probably the most exotic meal included in this weeks recipes is this Curry. It also has a couple more involved cooking steps but the end result looks so delicious! The prep time is pretty short for this one as well!
This recipe involves a meat cutting technique called Spatchcocking and while that may seem tricky it really isn’t! A simple alternative to roast chicken and delicious as well as rustic!
Mini Mac & Cheese
This yummy mac & cheese recipe teaches us (unless you already know) how to create a simple rue. They also add some superfoods to this classic dish in the form of spinach! A quick and easy comfort food!
So in summary
We can’t break this down the way we do our normal subscriptions because we know what we’re getting when we subscribe. We can say though that this is just the beginning because this is just one of the four weeks of meal plans we receive in a one month subscription. We think that the easy and detailed recipes and the awesome downloadable shopping list are a great way to keep away from fast food and other less healthy alternatives for lunch and dinner and for the price it can’t be beat!
