Akamai 3 in 1 Bar
These bars are able to wash your body, shampoo your hair and lather up for your perfect shave! Bars contain 8 botanical oils and are balanced for both hair and skin.
Each bar is 3.5 ounces and contains Palm Oil (Akamai uses a sustainable form, so they aren’t taking habitat away from any animals), Coconut Oil, Water, Glycerin, Shea Butter, Olive Oil, Sodium Chloride, Jojoba Oil, Black Castor Oil, Vitamin E, Argan Oil, Rosemary Extract and Sodium Glutonate (a conditioning agent). That’s a total of just 13 ingredients. Compare that to the average bar of soap in your shower!
Akamai Mineral Toothpaste
This grey, non foaming toothpaste is NOT sweet… but it is full of nutrients. This formula removes impurities and helps teeth remineralize. Clay based this contains 72 trace minerals, Fulvic Acid (great probiotic) and liposomal CoQ10. This is a 3.5 ounce tube and while it says toothpaste it can also be used on blemishes and cold sores!
Akamai Skin Fuel
This 2 ounce bottle contains everything you need to moisturize your face and body, treat you skin after sun, give yourself a scalp treatment, condition your hair, cleanse your face (hello cleansing oil). Can also be used as an aftershave, beard oil, and salve.
This formula contains coconut oil, golden jojoba oil, olive oil, argan oil, trace minerals, fulvic acid and an amino acid concentrate, and some rosemary essential oil. We were most excited about this product because skin oils are one of “our things”
The rosemary gives it a mild herbal smell. The formula is thin and easily soaked up by skin. The combination of fulvic acid and minerals help to heal skin; and the antioxidants, fatty acids and vitamins it contains help to support the skin’s microbiome!
So in summary
We can’t break Akamai Essentials down the way we do most of our subscription boxes because we know what’s in the box when we subscribe but we love that they’re offering an alternative to the 48+ step systems out there – particularly for women. Their approach .. healing and restoring rather than covering up and offering band aids really is game changing! We love that they’re using ethical palm oil and other sustainable ingredients (and organic where possible). We are excited to see how our skincare and bathing regimen will change over the next 60 days using these products!
