Everything that we received in our Bookcase Club Kids Box for August. When you subscribe to the kids box you’ll be able to tailor your box to your child’s age and gender, our box is more a sampling of what they have to offer.
So what is all this stuff?
The Tomb Robber and King Tut by Sarah Gauch
Young Hassan has wanted to work with Mr. Howard for months on finding the tomb of King Tut but because Hassan’s family has ties to tomb robbing his family is nervous.
Hassan has his way though, and works long hard days digging until finally, he makes an awesome discovery.
Great illustrations and a great imagining of this real event in history… this book is perfect for the 4th-5th grade set
Your kids will be learning without even realizing it!
Miss Brooks’ Story Nook by Barbara Bottner
This companion book goes hand in hand with “Miss Brook Loves Books” and follows Missy a girl who loves to attend Miss Brooks before school storytime but she has to pass by Billy the Bully’s house! Then she comes up with a story that allows her to get through this real life problem!

Sibling rivalry at it’s finest! This tale of a brother sister who contend for first in all they do will impart the lesson on your child that sometimes FIRST isn’t always BEST.
Because we have a 4 and 2 year old this book works perfectly into our life!
The cute characters help to pull children in so they can better understand the overall message of this story!
I Didn’t Know That Facts Book
This book of amazing facts about sharks and other fish is great for kids Penny’s age!
In the front you have a little legend that tells you what symbols are used for the associated crafts and questions that go along with this non-fiction book
The kids really enjoyed this – particularly our olders who are really interested in nature!
So in summary
We look for three things in a subscription box; quality, curation, and presentation. The Bookcase Club Kids Box is a great way to have an assortment of books sent to your child each month and we love that they tailor the books to your child’s age and gender! The presentation is great, everything arrives perfectly. The quality is also amazing – each of our books this month are hard bound and high quality and curation is fantastic. We received an amazing assortment that spans ages and is fun and engaging. As always this is one of our favorite book boxes!
