The Book is Curiouser and Curiouser By: Melanie Karsak
curiouser and curiouser book
 $14.99
To save the Hatter, Alice must work with the one man she despises so much that she might still love him.
Alice thought she’d turned over a new leaf. No more working for Jabberwocky. No more making deals with the ruthless Queen of Hearts. No more hanging around The Mushroom with tinkers, tarts, scoundrels, and thieves in London’s criminal underbelly. But she’d been bonkers to dream.
Hatter’s reckless behavior leads Alice back to the one person she never wanted to see again, Caterpillar. Pulled into Caterpillar’s mad schemes, Alice must steal a very big diamond from a very royal lady. The heist is no problem for this Bandersnatch. But protecting her heart from the man she once loved? Impossible. -Via Amazon Book Store Info
Honestly I cannot wait to read this book. I purchased this one-off book box because of the theme spoiler. I love anything Alice in Wonderland and Snow white and there are an entire set of steampunk fairy tales by Melanie Karsak like Beauty & Beastly, Ice & Embers, and Snow & Bones. They all look amazing.
Gold Tea Infuser and Loose Leaf Tea
$2.99 & $4.99
Also included in this box was a gold-tone steampunk inspired tea infuser and a tin of loose tea “Queen of Hearts”  made exclusively for litcube by: fandom blends. This tea is a blend of vanilla, black tea, honeybush tea, gunpowder & rose petals. I am not a tea drinker at all but I found this tea to be very light flavored and enjoyable. My only complaint would be that the tea steeper did not have a tight enough fit and there were many pieces of tea floating in my cup.

Steampunk Smelling Salts

$7.99
Here we have an adorable glass jar of steampunk wonderland inspired aromatherapy smelling salts . These say that they are to help with awakening from entrancement. Honestly these salts are a big miss for me. I just don’t understand why one would need smelling salts while reading a book. Now a candle or even body lotion would have been a way more appreciated “scentable” for me. We also have a steampunk fairy tales book mark, it has beautiful artwork perfect to hold your place in wonderland.

Pocket Watch Necklace
$19.99
“Oh Dear I am late I am late” will be words of the past with this beautiful Alice & Cheshire cat watch necklace. I absolutely adore this item with Alice on one side and my favorite kitty on the other. I probably will not wear it as a necklace, but I am so very happy to have gotten such a beautiful piece in this box.

So in summary

My Final thoughts of this LitCube were mixed I Loved most of the items, and I’m thrilled about the book and watch. I feel like the smelling salts really don’t fit in at all with the theme. The tea infuser while functional is, made cheaply and could fit together tighter to keep all the bits of tea inside.  The combined retail of the items is $50.95 so the value to purchase the box is definitely there. I would recommend LitCube because they have some really great themes like this one, that make me want to collect all the steampunk fairy tale books. If you would like to subscribe to LitCube or buy just one box you can use the link provided below. Thanks for reading my review I hope you enjoyed it.
