The Walled City by Ryan Graudin
the walled city by ryan graudin
Dai is a drug trafficer for a ruthless kingpin – waiting to escape the “Walled City” while Jin pretends to be a boy in search of her lost sister. And finally, Mei Yee is imprisoned in a brothel. These three lives come together to create a unique storyline and action packed tale
We’re really excited to read this one and were surprised to find out that the “Walled City” was a real place once!
Harrison Squared by Daryl Gregory
harrison squared by daryl gregory
This “LoveCraftian” adventure novel follows Harrison Harrison on a search for his mother. Harrison who is “sensitive” to supernatural elements and his mother who is a marine biologist move to Dunnsmouth Massachusetts and on Harrison’s first day of school his mother disappears – leaving him to solve the crime
We don’t think we’ve ever been so excited for a book in our Bookcase Club Box! This looks like it’s going to be awesome!

So in summary

We look for three things in a subscription box; quality, curation and presentation. The Bookcase Club Box is a great way to get your books sent to you – simply, and with no frills and at an excellent price. The presentation is awesome. Everything arrives perfectly and is nicely packaged. The quality is wonderful – both books are nicely bound and one is a hardcover. The curation is great. They consistently choose books that are varied and unique and we really appreciate that about the Bookcase Club Box
