This is what I saw when I opened up the box I did straighten out the cards and sticker though.
This is everything I got in my art surprise mini box. I got the “Friendly Skeleton” by: Chelsea Rayl of River and Ivy. She is a Las Vegas based artist who is inspired by mythical, magical, and other fantasy. She loves astrology, tarot reading, and painting. If you are interested on finding out more about Chelsea or seeing more of her work, you can find her on Instagram @riverandivy or Chelsea Rayl on facebook.
Also included in my box was a post card by: Jeff Knox of Jeff Knox photography. There were originally made as gifts for fellow burners at the burning man festival. He began with night shots and light painting but that eventually got him into realm of the milky way and star trails photos. That led him to doing long exposure panoramas that continue to evolve today. This shot was taken in a Nevada dessert at night and I love it. The box also cane with a “support the arts” sticker and Chelsea’s business card and an Art surprise card.
I think that this is a great idea for a subscription and I do think that it is the only one of it’s kind. While I was not into the skeleton painting my son adores it, seriously he thinks its the coolest painting he’s ever seen so its a win for us. I do however LOVE the postcard it is just such a peaceful serene picture I wish that it was bigger but I still got myself a little dollar store frame and put it on my desk. I think that this is a really cool subscription but you will probably not love every item you get that is why Art surprise recommends that you gift any items that are not your taste, to pass the love of art around. I wholeheartedly stand for everything that this company does. I think its amazing.
