Here’s the Box Breakdown
Our first glimpse inside the Finders Seekers Subscription. Everything comes inside this white envelope
Everything that we received in our Finders Seekers Box. This month’s hunt took place in Sydney and we received so many tools to help us along the way!
So what is all this stuff?
Our welcome letter tells us about the items that we received and a bit more about the theme. It also tells us the difficulty level and approximately how long it should take to complete
This is our Sydney Travel Guide. This is actually the most important part of our subscription. Each page takes us to a unique web page where there is a puzzle you have to complete using the tools included in your subscription
Each page also takes you to another locale that loosely is related to the puzzles
Just as an FYI we decided to bring Mr. I’m Not a Tree in on this one with us… because he is the puzzle master and we’re still working on a few of these!
Overall the puzzles are very varied and change in both difficulty and type – so it’s a great way to keep your brain sharp and focused!
We’re also really impressed with the quality of the guide. This is high quality stock and great photos and visuals to really draw you into the puzzles!
There are a total of 10 pages (each is a puzzle) that lead to a secret webpage and possibly a larger puzzle (we’re not sure yet)!
The tickets are used in a puzzle where we have to find the value of all our combined tickets and convert from AUD to USD
The Redfern Speech was used in one of the puzzles that we considered to be the hardest we received. It included binary numbers and solving a riddle and a hidden word contained in this speech.. still haven’t solved it!
Was used in another puzzle along with a sheet of letters. Still working on this one as well!
To be used in coordination with our boomerang
This puzzle makes you figure out the missing notes in this song and find the hidden word! This puzzle was ours (total band nerd here)
This sheet of keys is used to solve the very first puzzle in this subscription
Prisoner Key Description Card
This is also used in our first puzzle to find which key aligns with each prisoner
This notepad helps you to solve all this month’s riddles
This puzzle is also a bit difficult… still working on it!
Okay so now what?
This was our first puzzle – we had to find out which key on the sheet above corresponded to each prisoner! Fun! We solved it!
Our second puzzle involved the Sydney Opera House, and finding the hidden word in our sheet music!
We solved this!
Then we did a “Manly Beach” that ended in a hilarious trick question! We figured it out though!
We then went on to the Redfern Park speech which we didn’t complete – however we went on to the Toranga Park puzzle and we have to say this was the most fun of all the puzzles! We were on a quest to find antivenom!
Each puzzle completed gives you a sticker souvenir. We saved each of these because we think they are going to be a big part of the final puzzle! Check our IG for updates!
So in summary
We look for three things in a subscription box; quality, curation, and presentation. The Finders Seekers Box is a fun way for puzzle lovers to get a monthly set of well thought out and coordinating puzzles! The presentation is great and everything arrives perfectly. The quality is fantastic! We love the quality of the Sydney Travel Guide and think this is a great assortment as well. The curation is awesome! We are impressed with not only the amount of puzzles included in this subscription but also the variety included as well. We feel like this will appeal to all sorts of thinkers out there!
