So what is all this stuff?
In the Deep Dark Deep by Ben Joel Price
This sequel follows a monkey, a robot and a deep sea diver on a dangerous aquatic journey to find their Guppy (or their missing bath toy).
Great rhyming and a really funny color scheme bring this tale to life!
Great for the 3-4 year old set who experiences wonder when they’re confronted with nature and adventure
Apes A-Go-Go by Roman Milisic
This bull in a china shop tale involves ape trying to helpfully clean up a mess they made but only managing to do more harm than good in the process. How can they work together to make things better?
The illustrations and even the story in some ways have a very vintage feel
This is a great story for kids of all ages!
Max and Marla by Alexandra Boiger
Practicing to be future Olympians Max and Marla run into many obstacles that show them what’s most important – friendship… not victory!
We are very fond of the snowy landscape illustrations … they are getting us ready for winter!
But kids will definitely love this for it’s friendship aspect
George in the Dark by Madeline Valentine
This book is great for kids who are scared of the dark… George is very brave in the daylight but once the lights are off… George is scared! Great way to overcome fears and also become engaged by a character, this sweet tale is great for your tot or preschooler
Love the pencil sketch style illustrations
Kind of reminds us a bit of the Knufflebunny series!
So in summary
We look for three things in a subscription box; quality, curation, and presentation. The Bookcase Club Kids Box is a great way to keep your child’s library growing! The presentation is great, all the books arrive well packaged and in perfect condition. The quality is fantastic… all glossy pages and hard bound books. And curation, once again a stunning selection of books that will engage children of all ages!
