club victress review

Club Victress is a brand new women’s empowerment subscription box that sends you a box of feminine hygiene products as well as products from small women owned businesses. Choose from their three different box options – the Silver (includes 14 pads or tampons, 4 liners, 2 Summer’s Eve wipes and chocolate) for $14.99, the Gold (includes everything in the Silver box with the addition of 2-3 Victress vendor sample gifts, tea, a snack and Midol) for $24.99 (what we’re reviewing today), or the Platinum (which contains everything in the Gold but has 3-5 vendor gifts) for $34.99. Additionally, you’ll go on to select your preferred type of product – pads, tampons or both; you will also select your preferred brand and also you’re flow.

Here’s the Box Breakdown

first look in the club victress box

Our first glimpse inside the Club Victress package!

what's in the club victress box

Everything that we received in our package from Club Victress! We chose a mix of pads and tampons with a regular flow.

So what is all this stuff?

Our box insert – LOVE this quote!

The back has a little note from Club Victress

All of our feminine hygiene products came in a pretty gold bag, which we think is a nice touch. We received 5 liners

We also received 7 pads (if you choose just pads you’ll receive 14 – we split ours up). You can choose from Always or Kotex.

There were compact tampons included as well. You can select from either Tampax or Kotex when you subscribe to Club Victress

Summer’s Eve Wipes

There are 2 Summer’s Eve Wipes included in all Club Victress boxes. We received the “Island Splash” 5 in 1 cleansing cloth variety. These are great to have in your purse!

Yogi Tea

Our tea for the month is this Woman’s Energy tea from Yogi Tea. This tea helps to balance the female system and is completely free of caffeine

What period subscription box would be complete without some Midol?!

Jelly Belly Jelly Beans

Our snack for this month is a fun pack of Jelly Belly Jelly Beans that include over 20 of their delicious flavors. We are totally going to have to hide this Mr. I’m Not a Tree (they are his favorite)

Chuao Mini Chocolate Bar

Our chocolate for the month is this Totally Tangy Mango Mini Chocolate Bar from Chuao Chocolatiers. This is a bright blend of mango, lime, salt and a tiny bit of chile in dark chocolate. We aren’t huge fans of dark chocolate but this is absolutely delicious!

Megan’s Marvelous Medicals Lavender Hand Cream

We received this fabulous sample of Lavender Hand Cream from Megan’s Marvelous Medicals

This is a rich hand cream but not super heavy. The fragrance is light and pretty as well! A very nice addition to this box!

Jars of Love Twilight Woods Candle

This candle from Jars of Love is scented in “Twilight Woods” and is made of soy and devoid of any of the nasty harmful chemicals in other store bought candles.

The jar is gorgeous. We received a 2 ounce candle while the Platinum Box received a 4 ounce jar

All Oil Everything Essential Oil Samples

There were 2 samples from All Oil Everything (whom we love). The first is an energy essential oil blend that has a bright citrus scent and the second is the “AF Women’s Oil” that’s great for cramps as well as PMS.

So in summary

We look for three things in a subscription box; quality, curation, and presentation. The Club Victress is a fun way to get your monthly necessities while also supporting small women owned businesses. The presentation is great. There’s a lot of detail put into the packaging which we love and everything arrives perfectly. The quality is awesome, all brand name products for our feminine needs and lesser known brands from women owned businesses! Curation is great, we love this mix of items and the generous amounts of period products we received! Great first showing from Club Victress!
