Okay so tell us more
This 2 ounce tube retails for $51 and comes simply packaged. The formula contains a mix of ingredients like; antioxidants, beta glucan 1 and 3, phytomelanin, hyaluronic acid and a unique oil capturing system. So beyond protecting your delicate facial skin from sun damage it also helps with anti-aging as well as hyper pigmentation. This is marketed as a sunscreen that works with all skin types (including sensitive skin). This is a chemical sunscreen – so it’s turning the rays of the sun into heat and then bouncing that heat back off your skin compared to a physical sunscreen which in essence creates a barrier between your skin and the suns harmful rays.
We were surprised at the scent – we assumed by the more mature packaging that this wouldn’t have much of a smell but it does have a really nice fruity scent. The cream is lightweight, quickly absorbed and doesn’t leave any sort of white cast on the skin. The instructions are simple – apply to skin about 15 – 20 minutes before sun exposure (this is an important step with all chemical sunscreens). Reapply every 80 minutes if you are sweating or swimming or at least every 2 hours with casual sun exposure.
We really like this sunscreen. It has a high enough SPF that we feel comfortable using it on really bright days and the smell is really pleasant. Often times sunscreen causes us redness and mild breakouts but this one didn’t do that so it’s great for everyday usage!
