Ricky’s Cult Crushes Review | April 2018

ricky's cult crushes review

Ricky’s Cult Crushes is a beauty and make up subscription box from Ricky’s NYC store. This is a really affordable beauty box at $11 a month each month, the boxes are curated by a beauty influencer and have a theme. This month the theme is Festival Glam.

This month’s April box Festival Glam box is perfect for festival season.

First up is a heavily sought after Bright Lights pinky rose palette. I am having trouble logging on to the Ricky’s site but I believe this palette is around $24. These colors are way too bright for me but believe me this is hugely sought after on soo many social media sites.

Burts Bees 3in1 Micellar cleansing wipes. I love a good make up wipe but these have a really weird scent and I just can’t use them, my daughter does not mind the smell – I guess it’s just me. They work really well to get rid of dirt and make up and being by Burts Bees they are 99.5% all natural.

Stiletto snap-on manicure by Nailhur in the design Ghost. While I am a square shaped nail girl these are really high quality press-ons. They come with nail glue as well, a nail file and 24 nails – each one is designed.

Moonlit Skincare overnight facial oil. While I don’t usually consider a tiny foil sample one of the items in a box, this $11 box already far exceeded the cost so it is not a huge deal in this case. I used this oil last night and I loved the lavender scent and yes it’s oil but was not greasy and my skin felt great this morning.

Nicole’s Notes:

I am a huge fan of Cult crushes compared to the other boxes that are the same price this one is killing it every month. Ricky’s also has a huge online store and if you are a subscriber you receive a discount on all your online orders as well. If you would like to check out cult crushes please click the link below usually there is a wait for the subscription but getting your name on the list is the only way to get a box when they become available.
