Our first glimpse inside the Cocktails By Spence Box

cocktails by spence box

Everything that we received in our cocktails by Spence Box. Category favorite right here guys. This is hands down the best alcohol box we’ve gotten thus far!

So what is all this stuff?

A letter that describes the Cocktails by Spence Club

Also – we received a recipe card and a sheet that directed us to an instructional video.

Cocktail Shaker

We have shakers… but not a legit 2 cup shaker like this one. I’m sorry… you came here for Not a Tree Reviews but James Bond done TOOK OVER

Use them to pour, shake and stir … all while being extremely swanky!

Lemon Squeezer

Who couldn’t use a little citrus in their life? For our recipe this month, “The Sailors Handshake” we’ll need to juice lime… this will become incredibly handy

We didn’t have one of these (and we have tons of gadgets) so this will be extremely useful in the future!

Not only does this recipe call for lime juice .. but also lime wheels. So of course we received plenty of limes in our box to work with!

Mango Syrup

Our mixing ingredient is this cocktail is Mango Syrup. Just 3 ingredients; Mango Puree, Pure Cane Sugar and Filtered Water are used to create this delicious additive. This is a 4 ounce bottle which ensure we’ll have enough to go around!

1 ounce on one side and 2 ounces on the other! We are so pumped to have a real one of these bad boys! Legit barware to add to our collection!

Strain, serve and pour with this barware essential (even though we didn’t have one before this)! The tight coil allows for great mixing and this strainer can fit both small and large mixing glasses

So in summary

We look for three things in a subscription box; quality, curation and presentation. The Cocktails by Spence Box is a great way to increase your collection and bar skills in general. We are really impressed with the amount of tools they sent… super nice! The presentation is great, everything arrives perfectly. The quality is fantastic. High quality mixing ingredients and wonderful items to mix them.. can’t ask for much more than that! And curation. Well yeah they kicked butt in that department. We are loving this box and can’t wait to see what they come up with next!

  2. I just wanted to share a bit of information about this subscription. I would not want to be associated with a company that has the worst customer service and doesn’t actually deliver the product. If you google other reviews from the company you will find what the nightmare everyone has had.

I found this subscription online. Read tons of reviews including yours and pulled the plug in 02/2019 for a 3 month subscription. They charged my card right away but never once sent a thing. I contacted them and finally 2 months later I received a box. The product was great. The reliability and customer service was not. I called my bank and protested the charge. The owner of the company himself reached out made promises and I signed back up for a 3 month subscription. I should have known better but was trying to give an up and coming company a chance. I’ve been contacting them for months now via every outlet I could to include email and social media. They have sent 1 box of “free” items from distributors, no items to make a signature cocktail with a note saying thanks for your patience you will get your boxes next month. They have not send a thing and blame everyone else for their failure. A lawsuit with UPS?!? An issue with their supplier?!?. They would reply once and a while to my constant contact attempts and promise tons that turn out to be nothing but lies. Even worse last week they just charged my card however I did not sign up for auto renew or in anyway give them permission to auto charge or renew.

They have since fallen silent and blocked me on social media outlets.

I do not normally take the time to reach out to anyone about these things but I respect your site and don’t think you would want to be associated with such a company.
