The Mice War,” a dazzling and heartfelt animated feature film created by Grammy-nominated composer and lyricist David Chesky, is now available for viewing on Featuring a stellar cast of Broadway performers, including Tony Award winner Gregory Jbara, “The Mice War” conveys the powerful message that war is never the answer and that we need to learn to resolve conflicts peacefully. Based on Chesky’s 2007 children’s opera of the same name, “The Mice War,” tells the story of Albert, a young mouse who finds himself caught in the middle of a war between the Blue Mice of the North and the Red Mice of the South. Ultimately, the mice learn that, if they are to have any hope of surviving as a species, they must learn to accept one another’s differences. In addition to Jbara, who plays the warmonger General Khan, the exceptional roster of talent includes Tony nominee Alison Fraser as Lucy the lovable sea monster, and “Rock of Ages” star Mitchell Jarvis as the narrator. “The Mice War” premiered at the Newport Beach Film Festival in April, 2017 and was also featured at the Madrid International Film Festival and the USA Film Festival’s KidFilm Fest.
