Subscription Box Review

subscription box review

Everything that came in my box from Darn Good Yarn. I will say that this looks so colorful and fun!

So what is all this stuff?

Our box insert is a small fold out pamphlet.

Inside we learn about all of Darn Good Yarn’s subscription offerings (their staple business) as well as their philanthropic endeavors.

Then we have our plastic case that includes our beads and the instructions. I love that they use a plastic case instead of little baggies. It makes it so much easier to store.

Here’s a top down image of the instructions as well as all the beads that are included. I love that they follow a color scheme and can I just say.. that orange though!

The sheet that’s included with our beads includes instructions on not only using each piece but also how to create earrings, bracelets and necklaces.

Included are silver beads, orange beads, light blue beads, green beads and dark blue beads. Each comes in a variety of finishes and sizes.

First we have silver studs.

Then we have some round silver beads.

Then we have all the little wires we’ll use to connect our different pieces of jewelry.

Next we have glossy orange beads that are round.

Then there are these small orange beads that have a matte finish.

Finally in that row we have these very small almost translucent orange beads.

Then we move onto the blue row where we have these disc shaped clear blue beads.

Then there are these larger light blue beads that have a glossy finish.

Finally in that row we have these opalescent blue beads that have beveled edges. Very pretty!

Then we move on to the green row where we have these large green beads that almost look like olives.

Then we move on to these really small green beads with a matte finish.

Then to end off the row we have these pearl like green beads. These are a bit large and will look great with those opalescent blue beads!

The final row is our dark blue row. The first bead in it are these small shiny blue beads. I can definitely imagine these on a bracelet.

Second to last we have these large tear drop shaped faceted blue beads – great for earrings!

And finally we have these small transluscent dark blue beads!

So in summary

Presentation: Everything is packaged well and I love that they included that plastic case for our beads.

Quality: For the price of this kit the quality of all the beads and items included in this package is awesome!

Curation: I love that the beads look so good together and follow a color scheme. What a great kit from Darn Good Yarn!
