My first glimpse inside the box from Cooper’s Cask.

Everything that came in my set from Cooper’s Cask Coffees. These all look so amazing! I can’t wait to try them out. Each of the coffees that I received is whole bean but you can also receive them ground.

So what is all this stuff?

The first coffee in my box is this Kentucky Bourbon Barrel. To create this coffee Columbian beans are used and in this distinct coffee you’ll taste notes of cocoa, fruit and a bourbon finish.

The bag itself will tell you tasting notes, origin and roast type – this one is a medium dark.

Second we have this Battle Cry Rye Whiskey Aged Barrel Coffee. This light roast uses Ethiopian coffee with notes of peach jam, strawberries, honey with a crisp acidic flavor.

This one smells absolutely amazing and is really a complex coffee!

Next we have the Uprising Stout Whiskey Barrel Aged Coffee. This coffee uses Sumatran beans for a dark roasted coffee.

In this unique coffee you’ll find notes of woody earth, tobacco, tropical fruits, vanilla, caramel.

The final coffee in my box is this Thomas Tew Rum Barrel Aged Coffee. This coffee has notes of Caramelized sugar, red raisins, molasses, rich cocoa, baking spices, vanilla and oak

This coffee is made with Rwandan beans for a smooth medium coffee. This was my personal favorite of the bunch.

So in summary

Quality: The coffees from Cooper’s Cask are made with not only quality ingredients but there’s a ton of attention to detail that Cooper’s Cask employs in creating these unique barrel aged coffees.
