Skincare Review

Upon opening this product you’ll find several of it’s claims to fame… like a triple layer gauze pad using beehive mesh to gently slough away dead skin, plankton extract that hydrates and plumps the skin, AHA’s BHA’s and PHA’s (the PHA’s are new to me) boasts a 7 acid complex that dissolves dead skin buildup giving you smoother skin. And finally Evodia Fruit Extract an antioxidant and circulation booster that increases the luminosity of skin.

Inside the box you’ll find eight individually wrapped wipes.

I will say that these are extremely innovative as I have never seek a skincare product quite like this one. It is two sided and we are instructed to swipe one side over the skin first and then the other. We’ll allow this to dry on the skin and then follow it up with some SPF because with AHA’s and BHA’s you always do¬† that. I thought these might sting but they didn’t. I did find the sensation of the mesh over my skin a bit disconcerting but the results were good enough that I could overcome that.

Overall I found these to be very effective. I have a high cell turnover and need to exfoliate a lot more than I would like to and even with sensitive / rosacea prone skin I didn’t find these to be too drying to irritating! The only negative I’d say is the price. At $24 for 8 wipes that’s $4 a treatment and while that may be a drop in the bucket to some, it’s not to most and there are I feel cheaper alternatives out there.

If you are looking for a great exfoliator look no further

These exfoliating pads are a great way to rid your skin of dead cells. I think they are a bit pricey but other than that they are great!
