My first glimpse inside June’s Gramma in a Box. This month’s theme is Emoji & Minions.

subscription box review

Everything that came in my box for June. Some things have changed over the past couple months. The main is that instead of three projects there are 2. Still the same amount of finished crafts but less projects overall.

So what is all this stuff?

My box inserts. There are two that explain the projects for the month and one that details the elements of the box. There’s also a card for their ongoing contest and a pick up (which Gramma in a Box offers locally).

There are now 12 cookies in each box from Gramma. There were three large circle cookies, three small circles, three large ovals and three small ovals. All of which will be decorated in our cookie decorating project.

Every box from Gramma includes a different colored melting chocolate. This month to match the Minon / Emoji theme we received yellow and white. This will be heated and melted and used in our Emoji Pop project.

These popsicle sticks will also be used in his Emoji Pop project.

There are also four bags of frosting for our cookie decorating project. There are two yellow frosting bags, a blue bag and a white bag.

These eight marshmallows will be used in our Emoji Pop project as well.

A cute little addition to this box are these two emoji erasers. I gave these to my two youngest.

These brown sprinkles will be used as hair on our Emoji Pops!

There are also these four smaller containers of sprinkles for the cookie decorating project. There are blue and yellow sugar crystals. Blue and yellow sprinkles as well as rainbow sprinkles.

This container is full of facial features the kids will use to dress up their Emoji Pops!

Okay so now what?

Now the kids get to make their candy and cookie crafts!

First I gather everything for the Emoji Pop project. There’s the melted melting chocolate, the marshmallows, the container of face sprinkles, the brown sprinkles and the lollipop sticks.

We quickly dip them in the melting chocolate and then dunk them in the brown sprinkles. Then the kids are able to decorate them however they’d like.

Here are our finished Emoji Pops!

Then I gathered each of the items that I needed for the cookie decorating project. The frosting, cookies, sprinkles and the instructions as well.

I really just let the kids go to town and have fun with this project.

Here are the final cookie creations!

So in summary

Presentation: Everything was packaged well and arrived to me perfectly in my box from Gramma!

Quality: I love the quality of the items included in this box.

Curation: This month’s assortment was super cute and the kids thought that it was lots of fun!
