Subscription Box Review
My first glimpse inside the Gramma in a Box for October.
Everything that came in my October Halloween Theme Treats Box.
So what is all this stuff?
My box inserts. One tells us about the box and the other two are instructions on completing each of the projects in this month’s box.
There were three candy corn shaped cookies.
There were also three ghost cookies
As well as three pumpkin shaped cookies
And four witch’s hat shaped cookies.
There were also eight popsicle sticks to be used for ghost-sicles
There were also six different types of sprinkles included. These will be used in both projects and are in a variety of fun halloween inspired shapes and colors.
The melting chocolate for this month is white and will also be used in our Ghost-sicle pops.
For our Halloween Cookie project we also received four bags of frosting. There is orange, yellow, white and purple.
There were also these two cute little erasers in my box too.
Finally, there were two sheets of parchment paper included in my box as well. These make cleanup a snap!
Okay so what now?
Now we get to crafting!
First we set up everything we need to make our Ghost Sicles. There’s the melting chocolate, sticks, sprinkles, eye sprinkles and the instructions. It was at this moment that I realized someone (OLIVER) at over half of the melting chocolate. :my eyes are rolling so hard right now:
I melted what I had left and put a dollop on each of the sticks. Using the back of a spoon we flatten it out to make a ghost shape. We follow it up by adding eyes and a mouth. Super cute, right?
We finish it off by adding some glitter.
Then I gather everything that we’ll need to do the cookie decorating craft. There’s the twelve cookies, the sprinkles, frosting and instructions.
For this I let my kids just have fun and use their imaginations!
Here are all of our completed crafts from Gramma in a Box for this month! Such a cute box! And it was easy to complete and cleanup was a breeze.
