I get so excited by new skincare. And one of my favorite brands, Derma E keeps expanding their line. Recently the introduced a new line of Shea Body Lotions that each target different areas of the body and stimulate the senses with different scents! If you aren’t familiar with Derma E they create all natural, sustainable and vegan skincare that is effective as it is good for you. NAT received this product at no cost for review purposes.

In total there are five different variations of the Derma E Shea Body Lotions. The first that was sent to me is the Vitamin E Lavender & Neroli Skin Smoothing tube. This contains 8 ounces of product and can be purchased for $12.95. The scent is very nice a hint of lavender and that soft subtle orange that neroli lends meld to create a really luxurious smelling lotion.

Okay, so let me start off by saying that I am NOT a lotion person because mostly I just feel like it lays on top of the skin. This however is AMAZING. I was certain when I first put it on that it had some dimethicone in it because it had that softness and skin blurring quality but it does not! This gives you the same soft skin you’d get with dimethicone and that nice barrier layer without being heavy. I LOVE this lotion!

The final lotion that I was sent for review is the one that I was most excited about based on the ingredients. This is the Lemongrass & Thyme Tone Correcting Shea Body Lotion. This also comes in an 8 ounce tube and retails for $9.99. Ingredients like Vitamin C brighten skin and combat the signs of aging while Polyhydroxy Acids exfoliate and thyme works to eliminate conditions associated with dry and cracked skin.

Wow! This lotion is so different than the others. While the first really gave skin a smooth feel and a barrier layer of protection this lotion works to soften and almost plump up the skin. I prefer the Lavender and Neroli but I could see this lotion being an excellent choice for someone who deals with dry skin in the winter months. I do absolutely love the scent of this one as well!
