Here is everything that came in my “Bright Ideas” Whole Foods Beauty Bag for 2022

So what is all this stuff?

The first item that I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention is this Queen Alaffia Cosmetics makeup bag that everything comes in. This year there was also a blue bag available as well. I selected the pink. These are a bit bigger than your standard Ipsy bag.

The first product in my bag is a HiBar Solid Shampoo + Conditioner. Okay for me personally, these just don’t do a good enough job BUT… these are great for guys at least the ones in my life. Their desire to keep things as simple as possible works well with the premise of these all natural bars.

Then there is this packet of Pacifica Leave Pretty Anti Puff Eye Patches. These are the cutest eye patches every because they look like leaves. I don’t really get puffy eyes but if I ever do… I’ll have these I guess?

Then there was a deluxe sample size included of the Seaweek Bath Co’s Balancing and Hydrating Shampoo and Conditioner. I do like this companies products and I put these in the drawer for the summer when I’ll need travel sized toiletries for vacations.

Another great product that is included in this bag is the Trilogy Ultra Hydrating Face Cream. I’ve never tried this before and it sounds like it will be a great product for my finicky skin.

I received two sheet masks in my bag for this year. The first is this Instad Brighten & Tighten Hydro Serum Facial Mask from Andalou Naturals. I’m not really into sheet masks much anymore but this one sounds like it works wonders! I’m all in.

The second sheet mask that I received is from Korean Skincare Facetory. This is the Be Bright Be You Gold Foil Face Mask that brightens skin. The packaging for this one is really cute.

This bag also included an item from EvanHealy who I was introduced to (and have loved) through Whole Foods. This is their Sanctuary Serum – a nourishing serum infused with rosehip, argan and vanilla oil to just name a few.

The item that I was most excited to receive in my bag is the Acure Radically Rejuvenating Niacinamide Serum. Applied to the face in the morning this will help to refresh skin and reduce redness. I love Niacinamide in skincare and didn’t know that Acure made a product like this.

Another item from Acure that was included in this bag is the Ultra Hydrating Plant Ceramide Daily Facial Lotion. This moisturizer also sounds like a great product for my skin type as well particularly because of the ceramides!

A product that is included in the bags from Whole Foods Beauty time and time again are the serums from Mad Hippie. This year it’s the Vitamin A Serum. This also include HTR as well as Sodium Hyaluronate so unfortunately I can’t use it.

The item that I was least excited to receive (again) is this Mineral Fusion Nail Polish Remover. I hate to be the guy that says it but this stuff just doesn’t work. Sorry, not sorry.

Second to last in my bag is this Alaffia Authentic African Black Soap. This is great for the scalp and I’m excited to try this product out – I’ve never used a black soap in my hair.. curious to see how it works!

The final item in my Whole Foods Beauty Bag for this year is this Burt’s Bees Sensitive Skin Gentle Cream Cleanser with Aloe. This sounds like a great everyday cleanser that will be gentle enough for me to use!

Presentation: I love that everything comes in this one of a kind Batik Bag. It makes it so much more fun to receive.

Quality: I love the quality of the items that Whole Foods includes in these bags each year. Everything is made with clean ingredients that are not only good for you but also for the environment.

Curation: The assortment was nice. It seems though, the repeats are the items that I like the least… which is kind of a bummer!
