Subscription Box Review
My first glimpse inside the Wildgrain Box. This is packed really well and everything comes frozen.
So what’s in the box?
The first item in the Wildgrain Box for March are Croissants. Funny coincidence – I had just tried making these for the first time and had decided they’re a product that is absolutely 100% worth buying. They’re so much work to make! There are four croissants included in this box in total. Want to see the finished product? I’ll be uploading some morsels over on my TikTok – if you aren’t following me… you should probably get on that @asheli_
Next up is a 12 ounce package of fettucine. These thick noodles will be great in our homemade alfredo – best part is that the kids will love it!
There were a few loaves of bread included in my box from Wildgrain. The first is a traditional sourdough loaf. To make their sourdough Wildgrain uses wild yeast that provides bran, proteins, probiotics and vitamin rich germs!
The second loaf of bread that was included in my box is this loaf of sourdough harvest bread. This is a round loaf that incorporates pecans, cranberries, apricots, figs and candied ginger to create a wholesome and warm bread that is great for breakfast which is exactly what I used it for!
There is also a 12 ounce package of Tonnarelli Pasta included in my box as well. These are those little “bird nest” pastas. My kids think these are the coolest thing since sliced bread (pun intended) and were a huge hit in my house!
Then there was this long loaf of slow fermented olive oil ciabatta. That’s a new thing for me… slow fermented and so I had to look it up. Basically it means that you let the dough prove longer than normal so that it ferments.
We haven’t had this one yet and to be honest I am so excited to I’m not sure what I’ll serve it with? What do you think?
The final item in our box is the bag of eight dinner rolls. These come free with every first order and are the perfect addition to any family dinner! They’re only 110 calories each too!
So in summary
Presentation: Everything was packaged well and arrived to me perfectly in my box from Wildgrain
Quality: I love the quality of not only the bread but the sourcing of the grains that they use to make these artisanal loaves!
Curation: I love the assortment that I received and so does my family – which is a win!
The Wildgrain Box is packed with beautifully delicious artisanal sourdough breads, pastas and pastries. This box was phenomenal
